Jaipur, September 26: An aircraft carrying Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot developed technical snag mid-air on Thursday. Subsequently, the plane had to make an emergency landing in Jaipur. The plane carrying Gehlot was on its way to Maharashtra's Jalgaon when it developed an air-pressure issue soon after take-off. The aircraft landed back safely in Jaipur within 25 minutes. The flight was safely back at the hanger around 10:50 am. "There was some air pressure issue with a technical snag, and the pilot brought back the plane to Jaipur airport," a CMO OSD was quoted by The Tribune as saying.

Following the incident, authorities sent the plane for repair and maintenance. According to Jaipur airport director J S Balhara, a private plane was hired for the Chief Minister's visit. Around 2:10 pm, another plane flew to Jalgaon with Gehlot, two ministers - Pramod Jain Bhaiya and Lal Chand Kataria - and Principal Secretary to CM Kuldeep Ranka.
