New Delhi, December 17: Congress leaders Ashok Gehlot, Kamal Nath and Bhupesh Baghel will be sworn-in as chief minister of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh respectively today. While no other cabinet minister will take oath in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, Sachin Pilot will be sworn-in as deputy chief minister in Rajasthan. In Rajasthan, Gehlot and Pilot will take oath at around 10 AM at Albert Hall in Jaipur. Nath's Swearing-in ceremony will be held at the Jamboori Maidan in Bhopal instead of Lal Parade Ground as announced earlier at around 1 pm. Baghel will be sworn-in as chief minister of Chhattisgarh at around 4 pm at a function at science college grounds in Raipur. A galaxy of opposition leaders will be present at the swearing-in ceremonies. While West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav and BSP supremo Mayawati won't attend the events, former prime minister HD Devegowda and Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy, Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Bihar opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav and former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Farooq Abdullah are expected to be present.

Other leaders invited for swearing-in ceremonies include AIUDF leader Badruddin Ajmal, TMC leader Dinesh Trivedi, LJD leader Sharad Yadav, JMM's Hemant Soren, Jharkhand Vikas Manch leader Babulal Marandi, Swabhimani Paksha leader Raju Shetty and former Bihar chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi.
