AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi, in a controversial remark, has called BJP Spokesperson Sambit Patra a "Kid" (Baccha) and has told him to keep out of important matters by mouthing a dialogue often used in Bollywood films. Earlier, BJP Spokesperson Sambit Patra, who himself is not a stranger to controversies, had called Owaisi a "neo Jinnah."
Asaduddin Owaisi said that "Sambit is a kid. And one should not speak about kids. Our competition is with the father and not with the kid. When elders talk, kids should not interfere". Talking to news agency ANI, his sentence in Hindi was, Arre Sambit baccha hai, bacchon ke baare mein nahin bolte. Bacchon ke baap se muqabla hai hamara. The BJP and Owaisi have always been at loggerheads and leave no chance to humiliate each other even on public platforms. Sambit Patra, who is a known face on TV channels as he represents his party on debate shows, has earned quite a name for himself but also attracts (fair) share of criticism for going overboard. Asaduddin Owaisi and his younger brother have been in public light for hate speeches with serious complaints about them and have made controversial remarks regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the past.
