New Delhi, April 29: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Harish Khurana on Monday filed a complaint against Sunita Kejriwal, wife of Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal for allegedly possessing two voter IDs. Harish Khurana alleged that Sunita Kejriwal is a registered voter in Delhi's Civil Lines as well as Ghaziabad's Sahibabad. The BJP leader filed a complaint in Tis Hazari court.

Khurana asked the court to issue a summons against Sunita and take action against her for cheating under the Indian Penal Code and the provisions of The Representation of the People Act. The AAP and Sunita Kejriwal are yet to respond on the allegations. The development came after AAP leader Atishi, who is contesting the Lok Sabha election from East Delhi seat, alleged that her opponent and BJP candidate Gautam Gambhir has two voter cards.

Gautam Gambhir is a registered voter in Delhi's Karol Bagh as well as Rajinder Nagar, alleged Atishi. She also filed a complaint under Section 155(2) at the Tis Hazari Court, seeking a direction for police investigation into offences punishable under Sections 17 and 31 of The Representation of the People Act, 1950 and Section 125A of The Representation of the People Act, 1951. Gambhir responded saying one makes such allegations to hide lack of vision and poor performance. 'Chowkidar' Chants at Road Shows of Gambhir, Bidhuri; Vijender Rides Open-top Jeep.

"When you do not have a vision and have done nothing in the last four and a half years, you make such allegations," Gambhir said. The East Delhi Lok Sabha seat will witness a triangular contest between Gambhir, Atishi and Congress's Arvinder Singh Lovely. The Lok Sabha elections in Delhi's seven constituencies will be held on May 12. The results will be declared on May 23. The BJP had won all the seven Lok Sabha seats in the national capital in 2014.
