All hell broke loose when Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, apologised to former Punjab Revenue Minister Bikram Singh Majithia on March 15, 2018. Kejriwal, who is also the national convenor of his Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), had allegedly levelled allegations against Majithia being involved in drug trade prevalent in the state. The apology comes as a shocker for AAP ministers, party-workers, and supporters alike as there were furious reactions from them all.
People took to Twitter to express their displeasure and were evidently angry with Delhi CM Kejriwal after he tendered an apology letter. AAP’s Punjab chief Bhagwant Mann resigned from his post and said that his fight against drug mafia and all kind of corruption in the state will continue. Read Bhagwant Mann’s tweet here:

The apology didn't go down well with everybody. Even AAP's Rajasthan's in-charge Kumar Vishwas seemed angry. Was his tweet directed against Kejriwal or not, is a different story, but then Kejriwal's apology did anger his core group of ministers and followers!
