Arvind Kejriwal Presents 'AAP Ka Report Card' Ahead of Delhi Elections 2020, Takes Swipe at PM Narendra Modi Over Regularisation of Unauthorised Colonies

New Delhi, December 24: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal along with his deputy Manish Sisodia and other ministers presented a report card of his government "AAP Ka Report Card" ahead of assembly elections to be held early next year. Highlighting works done by his government in 10 sectors, Arvind Kejriwal said that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) got a "historic mandate" in the 2015 Delhi assembly elections and similarly made "historic accomplishments". "The kind of historic majority we got in the last election, we have done the same kind of historic work in the last five years," Kejriwal said while presenting "AAP Ka Report Card". The AAP won 67 out of 70 seats in the 2015 Delhi assembly elections. Listing works done by the AAP government in education and health sectors, Kejriwal said that over 30000 classrooms were built in last one year and free and cheap treatment was provided through mohalla clinics. The AAP leader also made a veiled attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi over regularisation of unauthorised colonies in the national capital. "Talk can happen from Ramlila Maidan, but work doesn't happen," Kejriwal said. He was referring to PM Modi's rally at Ramlila Maidan on Sunday where he hailed the passage of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (Recognition of Public Rights of Residents in Unauthorised Colonies) Bill.
PM Modi said that 40 lakh residents of 1,731 unauthorised colonies will get ownership rights under the legislation under the National Capital Territory of Delhi (Recognition of Public Rights of Residents in Unauthorised Colonies) Bill.
