Arvind Kejriwal Dharna: Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia Discharged From LNJP Hospital, Says Will Resume Work Today

Sisodia was on an indefinite hunger strike for the past 7 days since June 13 at LG's residence against the alleged strike by the IAS officers of Delhi government.

New Delhi, June 19: Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, who on Monday was taken to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash (LNJP) Hospital after his health deteriorated, has been discharged today. On Monday, Sisodia was admitted after his ketone level reached 7.4. A day before, Sisodia's colleague Satyendra Jain was hospitalised. Doctors informed that Satyendra's his condition is stable now.

Earlier in the morning, Sisodia took to Twitter to inform about his health.  "Good Morning!! With Doctor's care and your blessings, I am recovering fast. Yesterday, my ketone level was 7.4 & BP reached 184/100, which was leading to renal failure. But now everything is under control. If doctors allow I'll try to be back to work today only," he tweeted.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal took to Twitter to inform about his deputy's hospitalisation. ”Manish Sisodia being shifted to hospital,” he said on Twitter.

Sisodia was on an indefinite hunger strike for the past 7 days since June 13 at LG's residence against the alleged strike by the IAS officers of Delhi government.

To recall, Arvind Kejriwal, along with his colleagues, have been at Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal's office since June 13. The AAP leaders are demanding a direction to IAS officers to end what the AAP describes a "strike" and approval of the doorstep ration delivery scheme.
