The counting of votes for the Aruku Lok Sabha Constituency began at 8 am on Thursday, May 23. The results will be declared today later in the evening. Voting  in this constituency took place in first phase of Lok Sabha Elections 2019 on April 11. A total voter turnout of 73.61 per cent was recorded by the Election Commission of India. The constituency number of this place is PC 1.  As per the early trends, Godetti Madhavi of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party is in the lead. The last general election in the year 2014 was won by Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRC) candidate Kothalli Geetha, who is also the current MP on the seat. He won the seat by a margin of 91,398 votes by defeating the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) candidate Gummidi Sandhyarani.
