Hyderabad, December 25: A delegation of United Muslim Action Committee will meet Telangana Chief Minister KCR on Wednesday. The delegation will give representation to the chief minister on Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), National Reister of Citizens (NRC) and NPR. AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi will also be a part of the delegation. Earlier, the Congress had given a 24-hour deadline to the Telangana chief minister to clear his stand on the contentious Citizenship act and NRC. The decision by the delegation came on the day the Union Cabinet approved the proposal for conducting Census of India 2021 and updation of National Population Register. Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has clarified that NPR and NRC have no links and they are different exercises not interlinked with each other.
