New Delhi, October 25: The Delhi High Court on Thursday, October 25, granted bail to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and 12 other AAP MLAs in the Anshu Prakash alleged assault case. On February 20, the Chief Secretary alleged that he was assaulted by two AAP MLAs in the presence of CM Kejriwal at the Chief Minister's residence.

AAP MLAs Amanatullah Khan and Prakash Jarwal were arrested for the alleged assault and later released on bail.

On August 14, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs) had moved the Patiala House Court seeking to restrain Delhi Police from sharing contents or details of the charge sheet with the media. The court had issued a notice to Delhi Police and had also fixed August 25 as the next date of hearing.

Delhi Police on August 13, had filed a chargesheet against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, his deputy Manish Sisodia and 11 other AAP MLAs for allegedly assaulting Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash in February. The chargesheet filed in the Patiala House Court was on the basis of investigation conducted on the complaint of Prakash, and had named Amanatullah Khan, Prakash Jarwal, Nitin Tyagi, Rituraj Govind, Sanjeev Jha, Ajay Dutt, Rajesh Rishi, Rajesh Gupta, Madan Lal, Parveen Kumar and Dinesh Mohania.
