Andhra Pradesh: BJP MLA Akula Satyanarayana Sends Resignation Letter; Set to Join Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena Party on January 21

Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Dr. Akula Satyanarayana from Rajahmundry Urban constituency on Sunday has sent his resignation letter to the Andhra Pradesh BJP President.

Vijayawada, January 20: Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Dr. Akula Satyanarayana from Rajahmundry Urban constituency on Sunday has sent his resignation letter to the Andhra Pradesh BJP President. The legislator has also confirmed he will be joining Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena Party on Monday. Jana Sena Party Chief Pawan Kalyan Snaps Alliance With TDP in Andhra Pradesh.

While speaking to news agency ANI, Satyanarayana said, "He (Andhra BJP President) will be tendering my resignation letter to state Assembly speaker on Monday. I will join Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena Party." Speaking to media, Satyanarayana said he will be meeting Pawan in Vijayawada on Monday and join his party. Jana Sena Claims CPI-M Interested in Working with It in Telangana on Public Issues.

According to the reports, this announcement from Satyanarayana came he conducted a meeting with JSP leaders Meda Gurudatta Prasad, Kandula Durgesh, Ganta Swaroopa Rani, Anusree Satyanarayana, and others. In the Upcoming 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Pawan Kalyan's JSP will be up against ruling Telugu Desam Party-led by CM Chandrababu Naidu and YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s YSR Congress Party.
