Amit Shah To Be Part of Narendra Modi Cabinet 2.0, Confirms Gujarat BJP Chief Jitu Vaghani

In a tweet, Jitu Vaghani congratulated Amit Shah for being inducted in Narendra Modi's cabinet even as the formal announcement hasn't been made yet.

New Delhi, May 30: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Amit Shah will be a part of the new cabinet, party's Gujarat unit chief Jitu Vaghani confirmed hours before Narendra Modi's swearing-in ceremony on Thursday. In a tweet, Jitu Vaghani congratulated Amit Shah for being inducted in Narendra Modi's cabinet even as the formal announcement hasn't been made yet.

"Met Amit Shah Ji and congratulated him for becoming a part of PM Narendra Modi's Cabinet," Vaghani tweeted. There have been reports that Shah will join the cabinet in Modi's second term as Prime Minister. According to an IANS report, the four big ministries - Home, Finance, Defence and External Affairs - would be distributed among Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Sushma Swaraj and Nitin Gadkari. Narendra Modi Swearing-In Ceremony: Rahul Gandhi, Sonia to Attend PM's Oath-Taking Event.

Rajnath Singh may get Home, Sushma Swaraj External Affairs, Shah Defence and Nitin Gadkari Finance. Though there could be a swap between Amit Shah and Gadkari's portfolios at the last minute, the report said.
