Chandigarh, February 19: Days after the Pulwama attack on CRPF convoy, Pakistan Premier Imran Khan commented that his government would act on any actionable intelligence provided by India, but the speech has not been taken well by Punjab Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh. The Punjab chief stated it clearly the mastermind of the attack – Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar – was in Pakistan and if the country was unable to nab the terrorist, "we will do it for you".

Taking a swipe at Imran Khan, after his statement, Singh took to Twitter and wrote, “Dear Imran Khan, you have Jaish chief Masood Azhar sitting in Bahawalpur and masterminding the attacks with ISI help. Go pick him up from there. If you can't let us know, we'll do it for you. BTW what has been done about the proofs of Mumbai's 26/11 attack. Time to walk the talk.”  Imran Khan Reacts to Pulwama Terror Attack, Says 'If India Opens War Front, Pakistan Will Retaliate'.

He also expressed his opinion to the media and asked the Pakistan Pm on what more proof he wants. He said, “What more proof does he want? JeM chief Masood Azhar is sitting there. Will they accept when we show them bodies of the terrorists killed by our forces? So what kind of a statement is this? Whole world knows the truth.”

Speaking on the support to the Union government, the Punjab CM said, “If even one of our jawans is martyred, we should kill 2 of theirs (Pakistan). This is the only language they will understand. We've already said that whatever steps government takes, we will support.”

Earlier in the day, Pakistan Premier Imran Khan addressed the media on the nation’s stand on Pulwama. Khan had said, “All this 'attack Pakistan' talk is all keeping elections in mind. But if at all these are serious, please make note of one thing clearly - Pakistan will not think of retaliating, it will retaliate.” Pakistan Writes to UN Chief: Denies Role in Pulwama Attack, Says India Threatening Us With Force

"Pakistan is moving towards stability. Why would we do something like this? If you have any actionable intelligence that a Pakistani is involved, give it to us. I guarantee you, we will take action, not because we are under pressure, but because they are acting as enemies of Pakistan," he added.

The above comments came after the Indian government scrapped Pakistan from Most Favoured Nations (MFN) list for trade and built international pressure on Pakistan. Even Prime Minister Narendra Modi talked about retribution to the perpetrators of the attack. Due to the MEA’s efforts, over 40 countries have come in support against the Imran Khan-led country.

All this took place after a terror group – JeM – declared their responsibility behind the heinous attack. The JeM in their claim stated that a 19-year-old school dropout, who joined the outfit last year, was the bomber who targeted a convoy of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on February 14, killing 40 soldiers.
