Azamgarh, April 19: Akhilesh Yadav, Samajwadi Party (SP) President has a net worth of Rs 24.8 crore while his wife, Dimple has a net worth of Rs 12.9 crore, his poll affidavit filed on Thursday revealed. The couple has a combined net worth of over Rs 37 crore. The former UP CM had on Thursday filed his nomination papers from Azamgarh in Uttar Pradesh. In the last Lok Sabha Elections held in 2014, SP patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav had won the Azamgarh seat.

In an affidavit submitted by Yadav with the nomination paper, he has moveable property worth Rs 7.9 crore and immovable assets worth Rs 16.90 crore. Meanwhile, his wife Dimple has declared Rs 3.68 crore worth movable properties and immovable assets of Rs 9.30 crore. Amit Shah Has Net Worth of Rs 53.9 Lakh, Wife's Income Grew 16-Fold in 5 Years to Rs 2.3 Crore. 

As per the affidavit, Akhliesh has Rs 3.91 lakh cash in hand while Dimple has Rs 4,03,743 cash in hand. In financial year 2017-2018, the income of the former UP CM has decreased to Rs 84.83 lakh as compared to Rs 1.25 crore in 2013-14. His wife Dimple Yadav's income, however, has increased. While in the 2013-14 financial year, her annual income was Rs 28,31,838, in 2017-18 it increased to Rs 61,16,108. Hema Malini Has A Net Worth of Rs 101 Crore.

The affidavit further informs that Akhilesh owns a cellular phone worth Rs 76,000, furniture of Rs 17,085 and exercise equipment worth over Rs 5.34 lakh, while wife Dimple has jewellery items including gold, diamond, pearl worth Rs 59.76 lakh and computer of Rs 1.25 lakh. In the 2014 affidavit, when Akhilesh did not contest Lok Sabha polls but Dimple did, she had declared her assets worth Rs 7.92 crore while her husband had over Rs 16 crore.

The SP, which won five of the 80 seats from the state in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, is contesting in alliance with the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD). In the run up to Lok Sabha Elections 2019, the SP is contesting on 37 seats, the BSP on 38 and the RLD on three seats. The SP-BSP-RLD alliance has left the two seats of Amethi and Rae Bareli for the Congress.
