New Delhi, July 15: Congress spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi, who has remained under the radar of social media trolls supporting the ruling party, was once again abused on Twitter today. Chaturvedi retaliated to the offensive troll by retweeting the offensive post and asking Prime Minister Narendra Modi to follow him.

The shaming of the miscreant comes days after Chaturvedi got a troll arrested from Ahmedabad for threatening to rape her daughter. The Congress leader has blamed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), including its top brass, of patronising such elements who are hounding the voices of dissent.

The fresh abusive tweet against Chaturvedi was posted by a micro-blogger identified as Om Prakash Yadav, who goes by the Twitter handle @OmPraka17329501. Here is the screenshot of his offensive post, along with Chaturvedi's reaction to it.

"The fake news factory can never shut down in India because the Patron Minister Modi oops Prime Minister Modi is the chief patron of fake news, rumours, cheap propaganda & slander. That is the basis and the foundation of his politics. May Lord Jagannath bless him with a conscience," Chaturvedi said in her subsequent tweet.

Chaturvedi's tirade against Modi came a day after the Prime Minister, while speaking in Azamgarh, attacked Rahul Gandhi for his alleged remark of Congress being a "Muslim party".

The BJP has accused the Congress chief of polarising the society. "Whatever disharmony will be caused in the run-up to 2019, the onus will be on the Congress," warned Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.

The Congress, however, has blamed an Urdu daily of deliberately misquoting Rahul Gandhi, claiming that he did not refer to the Congress as a Muslim party, but a party which represents people of all faiths, castes and creeds.
