Jaipur, November 8: The latest opinion poll released by ABP News, in coordination with research agency Lokniti-CSDS, predicts a rout for the BJP in Rajasthan. As per the pre-election survey, the Congress will wrest the state, winning 110 of the 200 assembly seats.
According to the survey, the Congress will secure a vote share of 45 per cent, whereas, the BJP would lag behind at 41 per cent. In terms of seats, this translates to a victory for the Sachin Pilot-led unit in 110 seats, whereas, the Vasundhara Raje-led BJP would be restricted to 84 constituencies. Others, including the BSP, are predicted to secure a combined vote share of 14 per cent, which would translate into their wins in around 6 assembly segments.

Polls in Rajasthan will be conducted in a single-phase on December 7. The candidates are yet to be named by either sides. The notification of polls will be issued by the Election Commission on November 12. The last date for filing the candidatures is November 19.
According to reports, the BJP is considering to drop a large section of its incumbent 163 legislators, in a bid to combat the anti-incumbency factor. The party is weighing-in on the electoral rallies scheduled to be declared by Prime Minister Narendra Modi leading to the polls.
The ABP News-Lokniti CSDS survey, which predicts the BJP to be defeated, was conducted in the final week of October. The targeted sample size comprised of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Muslim and women voters.
