New Delhi, June 18: Health Minister of Delhi, Satyendra Jain who was protesting along with Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal , Deputy CM Manish Sisodia demanding calling off the strike by four IAS officers, fell ill on Sunday night and had to be admitted in hospital. Kejriwal took to Twitter to inform everyone about the health update of Jain.
Reportedly, ketone levels in Jain's body had increased, and he was having difficulty in breathing and also in urinating. However, according to recent reports, Jain's condition is stable now.
Our team of 3 specialists- cardiologist, diabetologist & nephrologist, was checking them morning&evening. Satyendra Jain was stable in the afternoon but his ketone level was high. Dr JS Passey, LNJP hospital as quoted in an ANI report said, "After watching his (Satyendra Jain) ketone report, we decided to admit him to hospital. His blood pressure is normal now. He is having some breathing issues, but stable. Our team of 3 specialists- cardiologist, diabetologist & nephrologist, was checking them morning and evening. Satyendra Jain was stable in the afternoon but his ketone level was high. In the evening, he complained of headache, nausea, and breathing problems."
Earlier in the day, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal took a potshot at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and tweeted urging the PM to give green signal to end IAS officers’ strike.
