Mumbai, December 24: After a resident of Wadala was thrashed by Shiv Sena workers on Sunday for posting "objectionable" social media post against Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Aaditya Thackeray has posted a statement on trolls and his reaction from his Twitter handle.

Talking about the recent incident he said, "law and order is the subject of the police and it shouldn't be taken into anyone's hand. Giving an answer to trolls, who are nasty, threatening shouldn't be our job." Thackeray suggested that the best way to deal with these trolls is to ignore them and stay calm because he claims that there are many, whose irrational voice isn't heard by the country. Thackeray in his Twitter further added "Our answer is to create jobs and revive the economy, which the leaders they shout for haven't been able to. Our aim is also to fulfil the promises to the people, which the people they support haven't been able to do and hence these trolls."

The Wadala resident on December 19 had posted that Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray's comparison of Jamia Millia incident with Jallianwala Bagh was wrong. Following which, 25-30 people thrashed him and tonsured his head.

Initially, when he had gone to the police station to file a report, the officials prepared a report that he was beaten up. But after some time, they typed a new letter and asked him to compromise.
