Mumbai, December 30: Worli MLA Aaditya Thackeray, who is the son of Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackery, is likely to take oath as minister on Monday. Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Ajit Pawar is expected to be back as deputy chief minister. NCP's Nawab Malik and Congress' Ashok Chavan are also likely to be a minister. The ceremony is expected to begin at Vidhan Bhavan in Mumbai at 1 pm. Total 36 leaders are going to take oath today. Maharashtra Cabinet Expansion: Ajit Pawar Likely to Be Sworn in as Deputy CM.
According to reports, many young leaders from NCP and Congress could be ministers. The next generation of leaders like Praniti Shinde, Sushilkumar Shinde's daughter; Sangram Thopte, son of Anantrao Thopte; Vishwajit Kadam, son of the late Congress leader Patangrao Kadam and Vilasrao Deshmukh's son Amit Deshmukh are tipped to be ministers.

In November, the Baramati MLA broke ranks from his party to form the government with Bharatiya Janata Party and took oath as Devendra Fadnavis' deputy. He quit from the post hours before Supreme Court ordered floor test, ending Fadnavis' 80-hour stint as chief minister.
