Petrol Rates Continue to Decrease Further, Diesel Prices Remain Unchanged
Government would reduce the excise duty on petrol and diesel by Rs. 1.50 per litre in order to provide relief to the consumers from escalating prices.
New Delhi, November 1: Petrol prices have slipped again today, while the diesel prices remain unchanged. The petrol prices in Delhi are at Rs 79.37 per litre, down by 0.18 paise and diesel is at Rs 73.78 per litre. In Mumbai on the other hand, petrol prices are at Rs 84.86 per litre (decrease by Rs 0.16) and diesel at Rs 77.32 per litre. Petrol prices in Kolkata are at Rs 81.25 per litre and diesel price remains unchanged at Rs 75.63. A litre of petrol is being sold at Rs 82.46, down 19 paise, and diesel remains unchanged at Rs 78.
On October 4, it was decided on October 4, 2018, that Government would reduce the excise duty on petrol and diesel by Rs. 1.50 per litre in order to provide relief to the consumers from escalating prices.
