Pathankot: 5 Suspected Terrorists Spotted, Police Launch Search Operation

A week back, a high alert was issued in Punjab after six suspected terrorists were spotted in army uniform in Pathankot.

Pathankot, November 29: Five suspicious terrorists, in army uniform, were spotted in Pathankot. According to News18 report, they escaped from the area, the moment police arrived. A week back, a high alert was issued in Punjab after six suspected terrorists were spotted in army uniform in Pathankot. The suspected terrorists were spotted in the city, just days after the blast at Nirankari Bhawan in Amritsar’s Rajasansi Village which claimed the lives of three people. Former Hizbul Mujahideen commander and founder and chief of Al-Qaeda cell Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind Zakir Moosa were spotted in Amritsar.

Earlier this month, four men carjacked an Innova taxi from its driver at gunpoint near Madhopur area in Punjab’s Pathankot district. The men had hired the taxi from Jammu Railway Station to Madhopur Railway Station but fled with the vehicle after entering Punjab.
