Four men carjacked an Innova taxi from its driver at gunpoint near Madhopur area in Punjab’s Pathankot district a few days back.
Pathankot, November 30: In the latest development to the suspected terrorists who were spotted in Pathankot on Thursday, four of these men have been arrested. Police have taken them for interrogation, according to a News 18 India report. These suspicious men were spotted in army uniform and the moment the police arrived at the spot, they escaped from the place. Search operations were on to nab the suspected terrorists. Four men carjacked an Innova taxi from its driver at gunpoint near Madhopur area in Punjab’s Pathankot district a few days back. The men had hired the taxi from Jammu Railway Station to Madhopur Railway Station but fled with the vehicle after entering Punjab.
A high alert was issued in Punjab after six suspected terrorists were spotted in army uniform in Pathankot around seven days back. The suspected terrorists were spotted in the city, just days after the blast at Nirankari Bhawan in Amritsar’s Rajasansi Village which claimed the lives of three people. Former Hizbul Mujahideen commander and founder and chief of Al-Qaeda cell Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind Zakir Moosa were spotted in Amritsar.
