Parvinder Chaudhary, Sprinter Commits Suicide in Hostel Room at Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium
New Delhi, November 14: In an unfortunate incident, Parvinder Chaudhary, an 18-year-old sprinter, has allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan inside his hostel room in athletics academy at Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru stadium. According to an ANI report, an official of the Sports Authority of India, speaking on the issue said, "I was told he had an argument on phone with his father in the morning yesterday. Later his sister came to talk to him too. Unfortunately, we could not save him despite our best efforts." More details on the same are awaited. In another incident from the city, a man committed suicide because he was allegedly being harassed by his in-laws. In a 17-page suicide note left behind, he accused his in-laws of allegedly "forcing" him to stay with them and also keeping him away from his eight-year-old son.
