Ola & Uber Drivers' Strike Enters Day 10: Union Tries to Resolve Matter With Management

The Ola and Uber drivers' strike has entered the tenth day on Wednesday. According to a Times of India report, the driver's union has claimed that most of the issues have been resolved with the Ola management, but talks with Uber still remains inconclusive. Govind Mohite, general secretary of the union Maharashtra Rajya Rashtriya Kamgar Sangh as quoted in the report said, "We had a marathon meeting with Ola officials for nearly six hours, till 10.30pm. They have assured us they will protect and improve drivers' earnings with incentives and various other things. We want linkage of daily earnings with fuel price hikes." According to sources, Ola while giving incentives to the drivers, will also keep in mind to not cause an unnecessary burden to the passengers.

Taking full advantage of the situation, Meru Cabs has released an ad titled 'Meru Hai Na' to remind the hassled passengers that they are always there. Thousands of commuters in the city are facing problem due to the indefinite strike of the two major online cab aggregators.
