Mumbai, October 30: Cab aggregators Ola and Uber in Mumbai are on an indefinite strike from October 22 and has stepped into the ninth day today. The protesters are demanding increased earnings, and better work schedule. According to reports, on Friday, an Ola driver has been thrashed by protestors for working during the strike in Bhandup. The driver came from Pune to drop off a passenger in Mumbai. Protesters surrounded his car, and told him to remove his clothes and made him do sit-ups in his undergarments. On Monday, after several hours of talk between the drivers and the management, there has been no signs of any resolution. According to reports, the driver's union have said that most of the demands have been agreed to in principle, but they needed assurances in writing.
