Ola Harassment Case in Bengaluru: Female Passenger Abducted by Cab Driver, Woman Bangs on Window, Gets Saved!

Bengaluru, July 6: Another shocking incident of an Ola driver harassing a woman passenger has come to light from Bengaluru. According to the Times of India report, the woman was on her way to the Airport, when the incident happened. It was around midnight, and she was going to Kempegowda International Airport for a flight to Mumbai. The woman shared that the driver was staring at her for a long time on the rearview mirror, and therefore she covered her face with the shawl and pretended to fall asleep. However, he didn't stop when he had to take the ramp leading up to the Airport.
The woman showed her presence of mind, and when she saw a toll plaza, she started banging on the door. This created noise and other drivers noticed it. They chased the car, in which the woman was for 400 m, blocked it and then pulled out the driver. According to the report, the spokesperson of Ola has been quoted as saying, "We are deeply disturbed by the incident. The cab driver involved has been removed from our platform. We are extending all support to the customer and assisting police in their investigation."
