Noida Police Nab Romanian National For Trying to Steal Data From ATM Machine
According to Noida Police, Anexandru delibrately stuck his ATM card in an ATM machine of HDFC bank installed in Sector 18.
New Delhi, Aug 11: Noida Police on Friday arrested a Romanian national for allegedly attempting to steal data from an ATM machine in Noida Sector 18. The accused was identified as Onciu Anexandru. The police recovered a passport, visa and ATM card from the suspect's possession.
According to Noida Police, Anexandru delibrately stuck his ATM card in an ATM machine of HDFC bank installed in Sector 18. The security guard got suspicious and immidiately informed the police. A police team from Noida Sector 20 came in no time and arrested the suspect.
Anexandru was booked under Sections 419 and 511 of the Indian Penal Code and IT Act. He has been sent to judicial custody. Further details were awaited.
