Lucknow, August 3: The intelligence wing of Madhya Pradesh police has issued an alert to Delhi and Uttar Pradesh police regarding a death threat to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. According to a report published in News18, it is mentioned in the alter that the possible attack can even take place at Yogi’s Delhi residence. The alert also states that the security of the chief minister should be increased.
According to the report, terrorists are planning an attack in Delhi and NCR region. The intelligence wing also hinted that the possible attack could be carried out by boys of a young age who could also target religious places. In the wake of Independence Day, the terrorists could also plan an attack on a large scale.

After receiving the inputs, the security has also been tightened at the CM office in Lucknow and the officials responsible for Yogi’s security have also been alerted. A metal detector has been placed at the front door of the CM's office as a precautionary measure. In the last month, intelligence agencies also issued an alert regarding a possible attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
