Mumbai, June 14: YouTuber Shikha Metray, who ran the YouTube channel "Kuwari Begum" and is also known as "Madam Kuwari Begum", was arrested by the Ghaziabad police on Thursday, June 13. Shikha Metray was taken into custody after a case was registered against her for allegedly sharing pornographic content through her "Kuwari Begum" YouTube channel and "teaching" her viewers how to rape infants. The arrest of Shikha Metray came after a journalist Deepika Narayan Bhardwaj had flagged a video of her allegedly promoting ways to sexually abuse infants on her channel. Bhardwaj had also lodged a complaint stating that Metray's YouTube channel was "full of p*rn content". After a case was registered, Metray reportedly changed her YouTube channel's video privacy settings from public to personal. Who Is Shikha Metray Aka Madam Kuwari Begum?

Shikha Metray is a resident of Ghaziabad. According to the Ghaziabad police, she completed her graduation from Delhi's National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in 2022. Prior to her arrest, she worked in a clothing and apparel business. She ran YouTube channel "Kuwari Begaum" and has uploaded about 115 videos there. Shikha Metray would live-stream videos of her playing online games on her YouTube channel. She used to hold interactive session with her followers during which she would speak about a range of issues including relationship. In one of her videos, which was flagged by Bhardwaj, she was seen "teaching" her viewers how to sexually abuse infants. Another video titled "She will say no. Let her" showed Metray allegedly suggesting men to disregard women's consent. She was also seen encouraging sexually aggressive behaviour towards women.
