New Delhi, November 10: Arshdeep Singh, also known as Arsh Dalla, a prominent Khalistani terrorist and one of India’s most-wanted criminals, was arrested in Canada in connection with a recent shootout. Reports confirmed his arrest, which followed his suspected involvement in an armed confrontation in Milton, Ontario, on October 27 or 28.

Dalla, a notorious figure in the Khalistani separatist movement, has been linked to multiple criminal activities in India, particularly in Punjab. Arshdeep Dalla Arrested: Wanted Khalistani Terrorist, Aide of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, Arrested in Canada.

Who is Arsh Dalla?

Arsh Dalla is accused of orchestrating targeted killings and other violent crimes from his base in Canada, where he has been living with his wife. He is the acting chief of the Khalistani Tiger Force (KTF), a banned terrorist group that advocates for an independent Sikh state. His rise in the Khalistani movement came after the death of his predecessor, Hardeep Singh Nijjar, with Dalla emerging as a successor to the slain leader. Canada-Based Gangster Arshdeep Dalla Hired Shooters For Gwalior Parolee Jaswant Singh Gill’s Murder, 2 Arrested From Punjab (Watch Video).

In September 2023, Dalla took responsibility for the murder of Congress leader Baljinder Singh Balli in Punjab’s Moga, claiming that Balli’s actions had ruined his future and led to his mother’s police custody. Dalla’s activities have sparked growing concerns in both India and Canada, with the National Investigation Agency (NIA) listing him as a wanted terrorist for his involvement in organised crime and terrorist activities.

Dalla is also believed to be behind the rising tide of violence in Punjab, with several modules linked to him being busted by Punjab Police. Authorities have seized IEDs, grenades, and other weapons connected to Dalla’s operations.

Dalla’s arrest follows a period of strained relations between India and Canada, particularly after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s accusations regarding the killing of Nijjar. India’s condemnation of recent Khalistani-linked violence in Canada, such as the attack on a Hindu temple in Brampton, highlights the growing tensions between the two nations.
