Chandigarh, October 10: Ahead of Haryana assembly elections 2019, Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sunil Arora on Thursday said that the upcoming polls will be webcast. He made this announced during a press conference in Chandigarh. "Web-casting of hyper-sensitive polling booths will be done during the 2019 polls in Haryana," Arora said. The election for 90-member Haryana assembly will take place on October 21. While the results will be announced on October 24. Apart from Haryana, Vidhan Sabha polls will also be held in Maharashtra on the same day. According to the Election Commission(EC), Haryana has 1.82 crore registered voters.

Meanwhile, the Assembly polls 2019 in Haryana and Maharashtra are the first elections after the Lok Sabha polls in May. In LS polls, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) triumphed with 303 seats while the Congress just secured 52 of the 524 parliamentary seats.
