Western Line Local Train Services Disrupted Due to Technical Glitch Between Andheri and Vileparle
Meanwhile, the western railways have appealed the commuters not to panic and trains been made operational once the problem is resolved.
Mumbai, July 19: The trains in the western line in Mumbai have been running late for about 15 to 20 minutes due to a technical glitch reported between Andheri and Vileparle station. A tweet informing commuters of the same has been posted on the western railway Twitter handle. Due to the disruption, several trains running between Churchgate and Virar have been affected. Since the problem occurred in the afternoon, it didn't create much problems for the passengers who commute during the morning hours.
In the last few days, the western railway was badly been affected due to the heavy rains. The train services on this route were suspended for almost two days from July 9, after waterlogging was reported at Nallasopra railway tracks. But train services were operational between Bhayandar and Churchgate, up and down both with limit speed. Although western line trains commuters had to suffer amid the heavy rains, the central line successfully managed to run trains and received a lot of appreciation from the passengers.

In the recent technical snag reported between Andheri and Vileparle, continuous announcements have been made on railway stations and in the trains to inform people about the problem. As trains halted for a long time, several also shared the problem on social media platform including the M -indicator. Meanwhile, the western railways have appealed the commuters not to panic and trains have been made operational once the problem is resolved.
