West Bengal Tribal Woman Raped by Relative, Iron Rod Inserted in Private Parts to Torture Her

West Bengal, October 22: In a horrific incident from West Bengal, a tribal woman was allegedly raped by her relative, and an iron rod was inserted in her private parts at Jalpaiguri in West Bengal. According to a PTI report, the nephew of the woman's husband and another individual is detained for their alleged involvement in the case. The woman is right now in a critical state. On Saturday, the two accused reached the home of the victim, when her husband was not there. They took her to the nearby pond area telling her that they wanted to resolve a land dispute, they were involved in. The husband's nephew raped her, and then brutally inserted an iron rod inside her private parts to torture her. The woman in her statement has said that the man accompanying her relative didn't rape her. A rickshaw-puller found her in that state and took her home. Police are at the moment questioning the woman's nephew in connection with the case.
