Kolkata, December 25: Amid protests over the amended Citizenship Law and ambiguous Indo-Bangla ties, West Bengal Minister and state chief of Jamiat-Ulema-e-Hind Siddiqullah Chowdhury was denied the visa to visit Bangladesh. The Trinamool Congress leader had applied for Bangladesh visa ten days ago and booked his tickets in advance as well. "I had applied for the visa of Bangladesh 10 days ago. My ticket has been booked. But today I was informed that the visa has been denied.
