West Bengal Minister Moloy Ghatak's Relatives Found Dead; Bodies Recovered in Decomposed State From Asansol House

Kolkata, May 28: In an incident which has spread shockwaves across the region, two relatives of West Bengal Law Minister Moloy Ghatak were found dead under mysterious circumstances at their residence based in Asansol. Their bodies were recovered by the police in a decomposed state. The remains have been sent for post-mortem to ascertain the cause of death.

Jayshree was the wife of Ashim Chakraborty, the elder brother of Minister Moloy Ghatak. After Ashim's death, she was living alone along with their daughter Nilam at the Hindustan Park area residence in Asansol town.

Neighbours have claimed that Jayshree and Nilam did not interacted with them in the last couple of years, barring rare occasions.

A probe has been launched by the Asansol police in the case. The first leads would emerge after the autopsy report gets released.
