Kolkata, June 14: With the chaos gripping the health sector in West Bengal due to doctors' resignation en masse, its the patients and the kin who are on the other side, suffering and requesting for treatment. Thousands of kin of patients - admitted in government-run hospitals like NRS, RG Kar and others - can be seen pleading to doctors for treatment, but things are going out of hands.

In the latest, a photograph is catching the eye of millions of netizens - shared by a photographer associated with Bengali news daily Anandabazar Patrika. Looking at the past four days' history and teh doctors from all across the nation standing in support for the agitating doctors of West Bengal, the chaos is most probably to sustain to few more days. Even filmmaker Aparna Sen met protesting doctors at Kolkata's NRS College & Hospital today and extended her support.

With things going out of control, Calcutta High Court has given seven days to West Bengal government to respond while hearing a PIL on doctors' strike in the state. Court asked to state what steps were taken by the government to end the impasse. Court also said that the state will have to put an end to this and find a solution.
