Kolkata, July 31: In a shocking incident, a middle-aged couple was murdered and their bodies were stuffed in suitcases inside their house in West Bengal. According to a tweet by ANI, the bodies were found in two separate suitcases inside the couple's house at Kheadaha Turia on Wednesday. As soon as the incident was reported, an investigation into the incident was initiated to ascertain the cause of the deaths. Details by Police inform that the couple was living there as caretakers since 1997. According to a report by The Telegraph, the incident came to light after the family members of the couple couldn't reach them, prompting the man’s brother to visit the house at Kheadaha Turia. On reaching there, he found the main gate of the house was locked from inside while one of the doors at the rear of the single-storey house was found broken. Several such incidences have been reported from across the nation. In April, a similar incident was reported from Andhra Pradesh where body of a woman, was found stuffed in a suitcase in Soorarum area of Hyderabad. The woman had been missing for several days. Police later arrested the prime suspect in the case, who was allegedly in a live-in relationship with her since the year 2017.
In January this year, a body of a 25-year-old woman was found stuffed in an abandoned suitcase in Delhi. According to reports, the body was found in east Delhi's Kondli canal near New Ashok Nagar.
