Hyderabad, November 11: Hours after the two trains collided at Kacheguda Railway Station in Telangana on Monday, the CCTV footage of the incident surfaced on social media. In the video, Lingampalli-Falaknuma train can be seen colliding with Kurnool City-Secunderabad Hundry Express standing at the station. After the collision, three coaches of Lingampalli-Falaknuma train and four coaches of the City Express were derailed.
In the video, people can also be seen coming out of the local train after the incident. The accident took place at 10:30 am. At least 16 people were injured in the collision. One of the passengers of Express train said the collision occurred when the train started moving. "All passengers were jolted by its impact. The children were badly affected," he said. Union Minister of State for Home G. Kishan Reddy also visited the accident site.

BB Singh, Additional General Manager, SCR, said a high-level inquiry will be conducted into the accident. Meanwhile, the loco pilot of the Lingampalli-Falaknuma train was pulled out alive from the mangled motorman cabin after eight hours of the rescue operation. He was later shifted to a nearby hospital.
