According to the weather department, a Pacific storm is seen boosting the monsoon this week and the northern states are likely to witness heavy rainfall.
The weather pattern has brought rain not just along the flood-hit areas of Kerala and Karnataka but Punjab, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, Chandigarh, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh have been witnessing rain.
