Mumbai, April 2: The Western Railway has decided to run an additional local train to reduce the extra rush of commuters in Mumbai on the days of Mumbai Indians matches in the Indian Premier League (IPL) season 12. The special train will run on the intermittent night of April 3-4, April 10 -11, April 15-16, May 2-3 and May 5-6. The train will ply between Churchgate and Virar to facilitate viewers of IPL Matches at Wankhede stadium and will stop at all stations. The train will leave Churchgate at 1:15 am and will reach Virar at 2:50 am. The special train will reach Dadar at 1:37 am, Bandra at 1:45 am, Andheri at 1:57 am and Borivali at 2:15 am. VIVO IPL 2019 Will Be Crucial for ICC World Cup Selection: BCCI.
The 44-day cricket carnival which began on March 23 will last till May 5. A total of eight teams will be battling out for the IPL trophy. In this edition of the tournament, Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings are the favourites to win the IPL 2019. In total, 56 matches will be played in the IPL.
