Visakhapatnam, September 17: A shocking incident of murder has come to light from Andhra Pradesh, where a man allegedly strangled his wife to death in Visakhapatnam. Police officials said that the incident occurred on Saturday night, September 14, when the accused strangled his wife at their home in Nakkavanipalem over suspicion of her fidelity.
The victim has been identified as Ch Salomi (28), a native of Sileru in the ASR district. According to reports, the accused has been identified as Daniel, who is said to be a native of Kakinada. During the preliminary investigation, cops learned that Daniel had married his girlfriend Salomi a few years ago. The couple has two sons. Man Suspects Wife's Fidelity
Police officials also found that Daniel had started suspecting his wife's fidelity and often fought with her. Soon after the issue came to light, the elders of Daniel and Salomi's family counselled the couple and asked them to sort out the fight. On Saturday night, Daniel and Salomi had a heated argument. After this, Daniel strangled his wife to death and fled to Kakinada along with his children.
Accused Strangled Wife to Death in Nakkavanipalem
The incident came to light on Sunday, September 15, when Salomi's relatives found her body at her residence. While a case has been resisted against Daniel, cops have launched a manhunt to nab the accused. Meanwhile, cops also discovered that Salomi was working at a hotel in Vizag city while Daniel worked at a church. The couple lived in a rented house in Nakkavanipalem. In a separate incident in Tirupati, a student was allegedly attacked with a knife inside a movie theatre. After the incident, the student was shifted to SVRR Government General Hospital for treatment. A disturbing video of the incident also went viral on social media.
