New Delhi, July 29: A video of a couple sharing intimate moments at a Delhi Metro station has landed on a porn website. The clip is captured using a smartphone directly from the live CCTV feed. A case has been registered by officials of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) against the unidentified man and woman for indulging in such act in public.
The FIR has been filed at Azadpur police station, with the accused being booked under relevant IPC sections related to obscenity. All details related to the footage, including the name of station where the clip was captured have been provided to the police, said Anuj Dayal, executive director-corporate communications, DMRC. The police is yet to identify the couple who were involved in the intimate act. Meanwhile, Dayal has appealed the commuters of Delhi Metro to not to indulge in such acts at any of the premises linked to the DMRC.
While the couple are liable to face the law, the leakage of Delhi Metro footage on a porn website raises serious issue of privacy breach.
On being asked whether the person has been identified who shot the video of couple of on his smartphone, Dayal said the DMRC will hold him accountable. "We are taking action against the internal person involved," he said.
