The Badrinath National Highway was temporarily closed following a landslide at Chungi Dhar in Joshimath. Fortunately, no casualties were reported as no one was in the path of the falling boulders at the time. Several videos of the landslide in Uttarakhand have surfaced on social media. Efforts were currently underway to clear the road and restore traffic. The onset of the monsoon has brought pleasant weather to the border area of Chamoli district, but the danger of falling boulders persists. This poses a significant risk to morning walkers and passenger vehicles travelling on the highway. Char Dham Yatra 2024 Temporarily Suspended Due to Heavy Rain Forecast in Uttarakhand.
Uttarakhand Landslide
pic.twitter.com/fApi8lhr6R
