Bareilly, June 26: In a tragic Accident, Ankur Pandey, the son of Uttarakhand Gadarpur Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA and state education minister Arvind Pandey, was killed in a road accident in Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly district. In the incident, two others were also killed and one suffered injuries. The injured has been shifted to a hospital for medical treatment.

According to reports, the incident took place at 3 am today near Faridpur on NH 24 when the car they were travelling collided with a truck. In the accident, Ankur was severely injured and was shifted to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Ankur Pandey's family friend Munna Giri was also killed in the episode. Meanwhile, a large number of a crowd gathered at the residence of Arvind Pandey to mourn the death of Uttarakhand education minister's son. It is reported that funeral procession of Ankur will be held today at Sycamore Bhoj Shamshan Ghat.
