Dehradun, December 28: At least two people have lost their lives and three have been severely injured in Uttarakhand on Friday. According to a tweet by ANI, the road accident took place after a bridge collapses in Garhi Cantt in Dehradun district.

Earlier this week, seven people were killed in a road accident that took place in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. According to a report by ANI, the bodies have been recovered from the accident site where rocks fell on labourers on the Kedarnath roadway near Banswara in Rudraprayag district. Earlier in November, 14 people lost their lives while 14 others were injured after a bus fell into a 150-metre-deep gorge in Uttarakhand's Uttarkashi district. According to a report by PTI, District Magistrate Ashish Chauhan informed that 12 of the deceased died on the spot while another person breathed his last at a local hospital.
