Uttar Pradesh Shocker: Two Girls Found Hanging From Tree in Chitrakoot, Police Call it Suicide
Bodies of two girls were found from Mao Tehsil in Chitrakoot area of Uttar Pradesh. Though police call this a suicide case, kin alleges these girls were murdered.
Chitrakoot, April 25: In an untoward incident, bodies of two girls were found hanging from a tree in Mao Tehsil in Chitrakoot area of Uttar Pradesh on Thursday. As per police reports, these girls left the house to visit a nearby field and didn't return for a long time.
Police further say - after speaking with the kin of victims - that when the girls didn't return form the fields, they went on to search for the missing girls and found them hanging from the tree. Delhi Man Tries to Commit Suicide by Jumping in Front of Metro Train.
With the prima facie, police have ruled out these deaths as suicide, but have mentioned that the investigation is on and final observation would be done only after the post mortem report.
Earlier in 2014, a similar case came to the fore where two cousin sisters were found hanging from a tree in Baduan area of Uttar Pradesh. Kin had alleged that they were gang-raped by five villagers and these girls committed suicide in shame.
However, the Central Bureau of Investigation had a different take on the matter and stated that there was no case of rape that occurred and stated that the girls committed suicide on their own.
