Jaunpur, July 7: In another incident of brutality, a nine-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a 15-year-old boy in Jaunpur's Zafarabad's area in Uttar Pradesh. According to a tweet by ANI, the incident took place in Zafarabad's Kalyanpur village. An investigation into the matter is underway.
A case has been registered under section 376 of the Indian Penal Code and POCSO Act. Reports inform that the victim is currently under treatment at district hospital.
In another similar incident on Friday, a woman was molested by three men while the fourth man filmed it. Reports inform that the clip has surfaced from Unnao in Uttar Pradesh. Reports inform that Police investigation into the matter is underway. According to a report by NDTV, the woman was dragged out of her home in village Gangaghat by the group of men.
Earlier this month, a man allegedly tried to rape a 10-year-old girl when she went to drink water from a nearby hand pump during school hours in Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar. Details by the Police inform that the man took her to a forested area where he tried to rape her. According to a PTI report, a case was registered against the nephew of a village head, Station House Officer (SHO) Kuldeep Singh said.
