Lucknow, May 11: In a shocking incident in Uttar Pradesh, a minor boy allegedly died after consuming Maggi with rice in Pilibhit. According to reports, the 10-year-old boy died of food poisoning in Pilibhit after he ate Maggi along with rice. Besides the minor boy, five members of his family were also admitted to the hospital for food poisoning. The alleged incident occurred on the night of Thursday, May 9.
According to a report in Asianet Newsable, Seema, a resident of Rahul Nagar under Puranpur tehsil are married a man named Sonu from Dehradun. On Thursday, Seema came to her parents' house along with her sons Rohan and Vivek and daughter Sandhya. On the Thursday night, May 9, Seema and all her family members ate Maggi and rice at night and post that went to sleep. As per the report, Seema's husband Sonu, her sons Rohan and Vivek and daughter Sandhya's condition deteriorated the same night.
Police official said that the Seema and her family members started vomiting after eating maggi. The report also said that the food poisoning caused diarrhea too. The next day, in the morning, all the family members were admitted to the village's clinic for treatment. Later, they were shifted to a hospital for further treatment. Sources close to the development said that Seema's son Vivek was referred to the district hospital as his condition did not improve. Dr Rashid of CHC said that all members of the family showed symptoms of food poisoning.
