Uttar Pradesh Shocker: Mathura Woman Drags Mobile Thief With a Towel Around His Neck, Takes Him to Police Station
A woman in Mathura took a man to police station on Tuesday, catching hold of him with a towel around his neck, alleging him of stealing her cellphone.
Mathura, May 22: Crime rate in Uttar Pradesh is amongst the highest in India and various governments have been claiming to decrease it in their respective tenure. But with things going beyond control, a woman has taken charge to teach miscreants a lesson. In the latest incident, a woman in Mathura took a man to the police station on Tuesday, catching hold of him with a towel around his neck, alleging him of stealing her cellphone.
According to the incident, the woman took the man to the police station in Mathura, with an allegation of theft of her mobile. She caught the miscreant and then after beating him publically, caught hold of him with a towel around his neck. Soon after that she dragged the miscreant to the local police station and stated that the man tried to steal her mobile. Briefing more about the incident, police stated they are yet to take action against man, as the miscreant was intoxicated. The police said, "He was intoxicated. No phone was found. A woman hasn't filed a written complaint yet. If she does, we'll take action"
In a similar incident, residents of Ading village in Mathura tonsured head of a man before tying him to a pillar. They alleged that he didn't return their money which he had taken on loan. Commenting on this, police said, "We reached there and took the man in custody. FIR will be registered against those who did this, action will be taken."
