Lucknow, October 30: A shocking incident of murder has come to light from Uttar Pradesh, where a man allegedly killed his daughter following a tiff with his wife. The alleged murder occurred on Tuesday, October 2, when the child fell sick. Post this, the couple left their home to take their daughter to a doctor. However, on their way, a quarrel began between the husband-wife duo, following which the accused strangled his daughter to death.

The incident came to light when the accused arrived at the Hathinala police station and placed his 17-day-old daughter's body before them, reports The Times of India. Police officials said that Kharwar is a resident of Saudih village. SP Singh, Hathinala police station in-charge, said that the infant's body was sent for a postmortem examination after the accused was arrested on Wednesday, October 30. During the preliminary investigation, cops learned that Kharwar’s wife delivered a girl child on the Dussehra festival.

Soon after he realised his mistake, the accused approached the Hathinala police station with the body of his daughter.
